How It Works
The 4-Roll Plate Rolling Process
- Clamping & Squaring: The plate is gripped between the Top and Bottom rollers. A Side Roller acts as a back-gauge to instantly square the plate for perfect parallelism.
- Pre-Bending: While clamped, a Side Roller moves upward to pre-bend the leading edge. This ensures zero flat ends and perfect circularity from the very start.
- One-Pass Rolling: The machine rotates the rollers to form the cylinder in one continuous motion. The plate remains clamped, allowing for the entire process—including final edge pre-bending—to be completed in a single cycle.
- Easy Discharge: Once formed, the Hydraulic Drop-End opens automatically, allowing the finished cylinder to be removed quickly and safely.
Optional Support Systems for Oversized Rolling
Vertical Top Support: Designed for large-diameter cylinders, it holds the plate from above to prevent collapsing under its own weight, ensuring perfect circularity.
Lateral Side Supports: Stabilizes extra-wide or thin plates from both sides during the rolling process, preventing sagging and maintaining perfect alignment.
Motorized Feeding Table: Automates smooth material entry and automatic squaring, significantly boosting productivity while reducing labor risks.
